Naturopathy
"It is more important to know the person who has the disease than to know the disease that the person has."- Hippocrates
Introduction
Naturopathy (traditional European medicine) offers a holistic approach to health. In the naturopathic view, symptoms are the sign of an organism out of balance, which is why a naturopath will treat the terrain while seeking to relieve your symptoms.
Naturopathy complements conventional medicine very well and is also—and above all—a preventive approach. By working to preserve and improve the body’s resilience, we prevent and minimize the risk of developing health problems.
During our consultations, I take the time to study your terrain, your lifestyle and your specific needs. I then draw up a personalized program combining several parameters:
- Nutrition and micronutrition advice tailored to your body type and specific concerns
- Support with remedies: phytotherapy, aromatherapy, oligotherapy, Schussler salts
- Stress and energy management techniques
- Hydrology and manual techniques (reflexology, massage, cupping, etc.)
- Appropriate physical exercise
You can consult me for a wide range of issues, such as digestive disorders, skin problems, metabolic syndrome, sleep disorders, etc.—as a complement to your medical care. In addition, I specialize in treating neurodivergent individuals, neurological disorders, and psycho-emotional issues.
I do not replace your doctor, but complement conventional medicine. My aim is to help you become autonomous in your health, by giving you the knowledge and tools you need to take charge of your daily well-being.

Getting involved
Bravo, you've taken a step towards yourself. Now, enjoy the journey, its challenges and its successes.
I made an appointment to supplement my cardiology care with a naturopathic approach. During my first visit, I had a small sore on my foot that was itching. Ms. Taverney noticed it, and after examining me and asking me some questions, she sent me to the emergency room! And thankfully so, because it was infected and getting worse quickly. Once I finished my treatment for the infection, I went back to see Ms. Taverney for my main concern, and I’m very happy with the care and my progress. I also feel reassured knowing that my naturopath is attentive to my health and recognizes the warning signs. Thank you!
I consulted her for my fear of driving, which was becoming increasingly irrational following a car accident. I really liked her very gentle approach, respectful and attentive to my needs. In just a few sessions, I could feel a difference in my approach to driving and felt more serenity and confidence. I highly recommend her.
My son had suffered from migraines for several years and after a few hypnosis sessions, he no longer has them! As for my daughter, she went for help with her lack of self-confidence, and the sessions did her a world of good.
We can explore the various possibilities during a 15-minute phone call (free of charge). Please feel free to make an appointment via the online diary.

This depends on the therapies and your supplementary insurance.
Generally speaking, Hypnosis is not reimbursed as it is not on the list of 590 pricing methods (the Tarmed equivalent of complementary medicine). However, some complementary health insurance companies, depending on their contracts, have decided to reimburse this approach. It's up to you to check with your complementary insurance company. Naturopathy and Touch for Health, on the other hand, are therapies listed in the 590 tariff and are more widely reimbursed by complementary insurance companies, but you should check with your insurer.
My training courses total more than the minimum hours required for ASCA certification. In addition, I continue to train every year. You can find details of my training on the "About me" page.
You can schedule an appointment by phone or by clicking one of the many “Schedule an Appointment” buttons that take you to the online calendar. I offer in-person consultations at my practice as remote sessions via videoconference in certain cases.
