Hypnosis
"Hypnosis is a relationship full of life that takes place in one person and is aroused by another person." - Milton Erickson
Introduction
After following a "traditional" course in Ericksonian hypnosis, I trained in Strategic Conversational Hypnosis developed by Gérald Brassine.
This approach is based on the legacy of Milton Erickson and relies above all on the spontaneous capacity of human beings to develop hypnotic phenomena.
In the event of trauma (i.e. a disruptive event that causes the nervous system to go haywire), our brain triggers a series of reactions and protocols designed to protect us. In some cases, these protections become obstacles to our lives and fulfillment (phobias, psychosomatic pain, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, etc.).
We may "know" the origins of some of our problems, but that doesn't mean it's easy to change them. Our conscious mind has no control over these mechanisms. By using emotions, thoughts and sensations, PTR hypnosis enables us to resolve certain problems in an ecological way.
In this practice, the client is in constant communication with the therapist and is encouraged to participate actively in problem-solving. This highly effective approach respects the client's autonomy, enabling him to draw on his own resources while respecting his limits and pace.
