Approach

In detail

What makes you want to get up every morning", "what makes life worth living", "raison d'être", - there are many definitions of ikigai, but they all have an existential dimension that calls out to us.

Today, popularized by a series of best-selling books, the term ikigai has entered Western culture as "that which gives meaning to our lives". The Venn diagram representation, with the ikigai at the intersection of the 4 dimensions ("what I love" / "what the world needs", "what pays me", "what I'm good at") is the most widespread.

Finding your ikigai is an introspective, rich and creative process.

My role as an ikigai coach is to question you, to help you explore the themes that emerge and to work on the blocks and fears that limit your fulfillment.

If you:

  • you're wondering what direction to take professionally (retraining, part-time work, etc.)
  • find out how to bring more meaning and enthusiasm into your life
  • want to get to know yourself better and understand what's important to you

Ikigai coaching could be the solution for you.

ABOUT US

About me and my approach

My curiosity and creativity are invaluable catalysts in my practice, and the solid training I have acquired in several therapeutic fields enables me to offer you a holistic view and an integrative approach to health and well-being.

Unfortunately, the society in which we live tells us that we should be able to answer all our needs and all our questions alone. But this is not true. There's no better way to chain people down and prevent them from evolving. Resilience is a quality that needs the presence of others and the support of the community. In short, taking responsibility and accepting to face the world are the keys to a freer and more meaningful life.

I see my coaching as a way of helping you to find your voice, your authenticity and your coherence. Your therapist is there to help you believe in yourself for as long as you need to regain your confidence, and to reflect back to you those parts of yourself you may not be seeing.

TESTIMONIALS

A few words from people who dared

I made an appointment to supplement my cardiology care with a naturopathic approach. During my first visit, I had a small sore on my foot that was itching. Ms. Taverney noticed it, and after examining me and asking me some questions, she sent me to the emergency room! And thankfully so, because it was infected and getting worse quickly. Once I finished my treatment for the infection, I went back to see Ms. Taverney for my main concern, and I’m very happy with the care and my progress. I also feel reassured knowing that my naturopath is attentive to my health and recognizes the warning signs. Thank you!

I consulted her for my fear of driving, which was becoming increasingly irrational following a car accident. I really liked her very gentle approach, respectful and attentive to my needs. In just a few sessions, I could feel a difference in my approach to driving and felt more serenity and confidence. I highly recommend her.

My son had suffered from migraines for several years and after a few hypnosis sessions, he no longer has them! As for my daughter, she went for help with her lack of self-confidence, and the sessions did her a world of good.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I know which approach is right for me?

We can explore the various possibilities during a 15-minute phone call (free of charge). Please feel free to make an appointment via the online diary.

What are the benefits of treatment at l’Allié - espace thérapeutique?

Support from a qualified professional with a holistic vision. A possible partnership with your healthcare network (doctor, shrink, etc.) to offer you an integrative approach to your health. Access to a personal online space with additional free resources. A pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.

10 minutes from the center of Lausanne, parking available.

You are registered with ASCA. Will my sessions be reimbursed?

This depends on the therapies and your supplementary insurance.

Generally speaking, Hypnosis is not reimbursed as it is not on the list of 590 pricing methods (the Tarmed equivalent of complementary medicine). However, some complementary health insurance companies, depending on their contracts, have decided to reimburse this approach. It's up to you to check with your complementary insurance company. Naturopathy and Touch for Health, on the other hand, are therapies listed in the 590 tariff and are more widely reimbursed by complementary insurance companies, but you should check with your insurer.

What are your qualifications?

My training courses total more than the minimum hours required for ASCA certification. In addition, I continue to train every year. You can find details of my training on the "About me" page.

How do I make an appointment and what are the fees?

You can schedule an appointment by phone or by clicking one of the many “Schedule an Appointment” buttons that take you to the online calendar. I offer in-person consultations at my practice as remote sessions via videoconference in certain cases.
